The difference between oiled and plain bamboo boards is that before oiling, the surface of JULYBAMBU® bamboo boards is a light carbonised colour, after oiling, the surface of bamboo boards become little bit dark carbonised colour, the texture of the surface of JULYBAMBU® bamboo boards does not change, the hand touching the surface of bamboo boards can touch the bamboo fibres, just like touching the nature, it is a very good feeling.
The material for oiling, wood wax oil or vegetable oil, should remove the water in the oil before oiling the bamboo board. After oiling, the bamboo boards should be stored indoors in an upright position, and the room should be ventilated so that both sides of the bamboo boards can dry naturally.
