How can JULYBAMBU® control the moisture content of bamboo board?
There are several key steps:
When the bamboo tube is split into bamboo strips, which contains sugar and water, the bamboo strips at this time are very fresh and the moisture content will be very high, about 30-50%.
Then, JULYBAMBU® control the water content of fresh bamboo strips through six steps.
Step 1: The first time we put the bamboo strips into the carbonization equipment to extract the water from the bamboo strips.
Step 2: The first time we put the bamboo strips into the drying equipment;
Step 3: Put the bamboo strips into the carbonisation equipment for the second time;
Step 4: Put the bamboo strips into the drying equipment for the second time.
Step 5: Put the bamboo strips into the carbonization machine for the third time;
Step 6: Put the bamboo strips into the drying equipment for the third time;
After the above six steps, the moisture content of bamboo strips is reduced from 20%-30% to less than 10%.
Put the bamboo strips with moisture content below 10% into the constant temperature room to balance the moisture of the bamboo strips, and the temperature of the constant temperature room is controlled at 20 degrees -50 degrees. The temperature of the constant temperature room is controlled at 20-50 degrees Celsius. JULYBAMBU® will check the temperature of the constant temperature room 24 hours a day and check the moisture content of the bamboo strips from time to time.
Step 4: After the bamboo strips are re-pressed into bamboo boards, before packaging, The staff of JULYBAMBU will wrap the cling film around the bamboo boards to avoid the bamboo boards coming into contact with the moisture in the air, which will make the moisture content rise. Repressing the bamboo boards, the moisture content is about 8-12%.
